A woman who viciously assaulted a teenager with a knife wept in court as she apologized for her actions.
Ashley Logan, 28, was drinking when she began a consensual fistfight with her 17-year-old victim at an apartment in Brantford two-and-a-half years ago. That fight was broken up by an adult but Logan returned and re-started the conflict.
Then she pulled out a knife and stabbed and slashed at the teenager, hitting her face and head, shoulder, biceps, and palms and fingers as the girl tried to defend herself.
“She had lacerations to multiple parts of her body and needed nine staples to close one wound,” said assistant Crown attorney Janice Kim.
