JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) reported that Johnson County Coroner Michael D. Pruitt turned himself in to the Johnson County Jail on warrant 41D032510CM001341 on Tuesday, October 14, at approximately 11:40 a.m.

Last Friday, Johnson Superior Court 3 charged Michael Pruitt with seven counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and seven counts of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor in connection with allegations that Pruitt allegedly provided alcohol and cannabis gummies to a 16 and 17-year-old.

He was taken into custody without incident and booked in with No Bond. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has no further comments at this time
