EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Edinburgh Police Department responded to a go-kart crash on city streets on Sunday. The accident happened in the 600 block of Kyle Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a 42-year-old male unresponsive from the crash. A witness told police that the male driver was on a handmade go-kart and lost control. He struck the curb and was then ejected from the vehicle.
Edinburgh Medics arrived at the scene and transported the driver to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was listed in critical condition.
