New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) Google will invest 15 Billion US Dollars in India over five years (2026-2030) to set up its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, including the first gigawatt hyper-scale data centre campus.

This will be Asia’s first 1-GW hyperscale data centre campus enabling the company to deploy its full AI stack with the aim of accelerating AI-driven transformation across India.

The new AI Hub will bring together advanced AI infrastructure, data centre capacity, large-scale renewable energy sources, and an expanded fibre-optic network, all in one place.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Google in the presence of union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
