HEIDELBERG, Miss. (WDAM) - The third victim of the Heidelberg shooting has died from non-gunshot-related wounds in the hospital.

The Heidelberg Police Department has identified that person as Cayus Stevens. He was apart of Heidelberg’s class of 2018.

Police say they are unsure of his exact injuries, but that Stevens was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle and was not shot.

Regardless, the department continues its fight to bring Cayus Stevens, Chris Newell and Mikeia McCray justice.

Heidelberg Police Chief Cornell White tells WDAM that they are zeroing in on a fifth suspect right now. The department has already arrested four others in connection with the deadly shooting.
