LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A brewery in Louisville is closing its doors for the final time this weekend.

Hi-Wire Brewing announced its Louisville taproom, located on Baxter Avenue across from Cave Hill Cemetery, is closing on Saturday, Oct. 18.

The taproom opened in the summer of 2021.

"This space has meant everything to us -- it's been a gathering place where our team built genuine connections with this community, hosted unforgettable events, and shared our passion for great beer," the business wrote on Facebook. "Our bar staff poured their hears into creating something special here, and we're forever grateful to everyone who walked through that door."
