MORGANTOWN, Ky. (WBKO) - Kentucky State Police and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on drug-related charges following an investigation in Butler County.

According to police, on Oct. 12, troopers reported to a residence on Caney Fork Road in Morgantown to serve an arrest warrant. When officers arrived at the scene, they saw several people inside an RV located on the property.

Troopers reported smelling marijuana coming from the RV. While searching the vehicle, the officers found suspected fentanyl, multiple scales, and a quantity of cash believed to be related to drug trafficking.
