GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Brown County officials gathered Tuesday morning to unveil design plans for the next phase of improvements at Bay Shore Park.
The new phase, part of the Bay Shore Park Master Plan initiative, is included in the county’s proposed 2026 budget and focuses on enhancing visitor access and amenities. Planned updates include improvements to the entrance road, upgrades to the upper parking lot, and the development of a new ranger station.
“A while back, through the Parks Department, they put together a master plan — had community discussions, talked with staff, campers, and the people who use this park — and realized it was time for the county to reinvest in this great community asset,” said Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach.
