NEW FRANKEN, Wis. (WBAY) - Brown County leaders announced a new phase of design plans for improving Bay Shore Park’s entrance area in New Franken.
It’s part of the master plan initiative in the county’s 2026 budget proposal.
The designs include development of the front ranger station and updating the entrance road and the upper parking lot to mitigate traffic.
County leaders also want to invest in improving the park’s boat launch, campgrounds, and other facilities and infrastructure.
Officials said on Tuesday the plan was created through community engagement.
More than $2.5 million is allocated for the project in the budget proposal.
