TROY, Ala. (WDHN) -- Troy University is taking action to guarantee military members can continue their education uninterrupted by offering a TA scholarship to qualified service members, as federal funding for Military Tuition Assistance (TA) has been impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.

The service branches have canceled all previously authorized Military Tuition Assistance for Term 2, 2025. For any active-duty member who has applied for TA or is receiving civilian military TA, TROY will now provide a scholarship equal to the amount normally paid through Military Tuition Assistance.
