HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Not even a full year since the makeover on the Houston County Farm Center began, and county officials are blown away by the progress of the iconic landmark.

"Very excited a lot of work is finally come together things are starting to take shape," Brandon Shoupe said.

Months ago, the roof was replaced with standing seam metal that will last about 50 years and now majority of the work is taking place inside the arena.

The interior is closed to be doing, the bathrooms will be plumbed soon and then concrete will be poured next week and then you can see we use some of the horse barn structure is the waves coating for the arena.
