BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - On Tuesday, the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency’s first homeless conference brought together service providers, housing professionals, advocates, government agencies and community partners from across the state to combat the rising homelessness problem.
“I think in the last few years it’s changed. If there’s one person that’s homeless, that’s serious. We don’t want to see anybody homeless,” said Brandon Dettlaff, executive director of the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency.
The attendees said they know what people experiencing homelessness go through.
