Chances Casino Kelowna celebrated its first anniversary of poker operations in style by hosting its 2nd annual Charity Poker Tournament.
The fundraiser brought together local business leaders, community organizations, and poker enthusiasts, raising an impressive $20,000 for charities across the Okanagan.
Seventeen players competed on behalf of their chosen charities, with every participating organization receiving a share of the prize pool. For the second consecutive year, TeamUp Canada took home the top prize of $5,000, thanks to a strong performance by Simon Ferguson, general manager and head coach of the West Kelowna Warriors BCHL Hockey Club.
Elvin Law of Crowe MacKay LLP secured second place, winning $2,500 for United Way BC after an intense final round.
“This tournament is about
