A second person has been convicted of a lesser charge in the 2022 death of a Murfreesboro woman whose remains were found in Wilson County.

Ty'Shawne Bowles, 22, pleaded guilty to facilitation of especially aggravated kidnapping on Oct. 14, and received a 12-year prison sentence, according to 15th Judicial District Attorney General Jason Lawson.

Mya Fuller, 22, was first reported missing before police found her remains in a remote area of Wilson County.

There were three people charged in connection with her case.

Taiyana Tipton pleaded guilty to first degree murder in March and was given a life sentence.

La'Myra Pipkins is also charged in the case and is scheduled to be tried in November.
