There are grave fears for several people who are unaccounted for after a fire ripped through a family home in Queensland .
A two-storey home caught alight on Whiting St in Toolooa, Gladstone about 5.56am on Wednesday.
Queensland Fire and Emergency rushed to the scene with six crews battling the fire.
Part of the home collapsed before the blaze was brought under control about 8am.
Queensland Ambulance said the situation was “ongoing” with one patient assessed by paramedics.
However, three people are currently unaccounted for within the home, police have confirmed.
Investigations continue.
