BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A flight had to divert to Boise on Tuesday after Boise Police said a woman assaulted crew members.
Tracy Barkhimer, a 61-year-old woman from White Salmon, Washington, began “showing erratic behavior and struck two airline employees who were attempting to calm her down,” according to KBOI . Barkhimer had to be restrained during the flight and was taken into custody after landing.
Barkhimer was on Alaska Airlines Flight 1057 from Portland (PDX) to Dallas (DFW). The flight diverted to Boise just before 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Barkhimer faces two counts of misdemeanor battery.
