MOUNT STERLING, Ill. (WGEM) - Get ready to lace up your ice skates, a holiday tradition is returning to Brown County.
The Rink is returning to uptown Mount Sterling for its third year, but it is changing locations.
Action Brown County will be transforming the Gordley Memorial Park, behind the courthouse, into the ice-skating winter wonderland starting Nov. 28.
There are festive lights, fire pits, concessions, and of course, ice-skating.
The Rink has averaged more than 5,000 skaters per year over the past two years and organizers hope to welcome even more this year.
“We want it to bring in people not only from Brown County, but all around the region to Mount Sterling and so they would visit our shops and our restaurants and really make a big day out of it, and we also just want it to b
