Early Wednesday morning, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office announced that Gevod Tyson, 24, died following Tuesday night's shooting on Wade Street in Aliquippa. Advertisement

Few additional details were available except that he died at the hospital.

State police are investigating the shooting.

EARLIER REPORT:

One person was injured after being shot in the leg in Beaver County Tuesday night.

Beaver County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that a man was shot in the leg within the 1110 block of Wade Street in Aliquippa just after 9 p.m.

Action News 4 was on the scene, where police tape could be seen in the middle of the road. Several officers were also seen assessing the area.
