GRAND JUNCTION Colo. (KREX)- Tail wags and handshakes greeted community members at Sherwood Park Tuesday evening, as the Grand Junction Police Department introduced its two newest four-legged officers, Brisa and Loki.

The department hosted a meet-and-greet event to celebrate the official launch of its newly revived K-9 program. Officers and their canine partners recently completed a nine-week training course at the Rocky Mountain Canine Academy in Denver, preparing them for a wide range of duties, including scent detection, tracking, and obedience.
