Srinagar, Oct 14: As the traffic volume continues to swell across Srinagar, the lack of proper traffic management at the city’s two key flyovers — Jehangir Chowk and Tulsi Bagh — has become a growing concern for commuters. Despite being the city’s busiest traffic arteries, these flyovers have emerged as potential accident hotspots due to poorly managed merging points, posing serious risks to motorists and pedestrians.

At both flyovers, the confluence points where vehicles merge onto the main carriageways remain unregulated, with no physical barriers, lane markings, or dedicated merging lanes to guide traffic safely.
