LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Living life on the street is never easy, it's a choice or want for some people. In our series called the Homeless Among Us, 8 News Now is sitting down with three women who shared what it would take to help them leave the streets of Las Vegas.

This is a conversation 8 News Now is having after the Trump Administration signed an executive order in June permitting cities and states to take necessary measures to help move homeless people off the streets.

Joan, Sonia and Jessie spend their days at Molasky Family Park near Twain and Cambridge. They have nowhere else to go.

For Joan, it's only been two months, but others like Sonia have been living on the streets much longer - "About 20 years" by her estimation.
