CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A shooting in northwest Charlotte left a man dead on Tuesday night, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department .
Officers responded around 10:45 p.m. to an assault with a deadly weapon call near North Crigler Street and Rozzelles Ferry Road. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medic took the man to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died, police said. The victim has since been identified as 37-year-old Anthony Hill, Jr.
Police have not released any suspect information. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
