The Governor of Sikkim, Om Prakash Mathur, on Monday inspected the Sivok–Rangpo railway project at Khanikhola, Rangpo, in Pakyong district to review the ongoing progress of this strategically significant infrastructure initiative.

He was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Dr Indra Hang Subba, Pakyong District Collector Rohan A, and officials from the district administration. During the visit, the Governor interacted with senior officials of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) to assess the project’s current status and review key developments.
