MURRAY – Several people were transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital Tuesday morning after being involved in a collision at the intersection of KY 80 and Brinn Road.
According to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a vehicle collision at KY 80 and Brinn Road at approximately 7:45 a.m. A blue Ford driven by Kim Underhill, 47, of Almo, was westbound on KY 80 making a left turn onto Brinn Road. Underhill stated that she did not see a red Toyota driven by Sheldon Hunt, 58, of Mayfield, approaching as she made her turn, causing Sheldon to strike her in the passenger side, CCSO said. The impact caused the Ford to roll over on the south side of the roadway.
Three passengers were inside the Ford, and only Hunt was in the Toyota. All parties were transported to MCCH
