Meadow Gold Dairy is recalling half-pint-sized chocolate milk that was primarily distributed at Hawaii schools.
The chocolate milk, made and packaged out of state, is being voluntarily recalled due to potential quality control issues, the state Department of Health said in a news release tonight. The milk is marked with an Oct. 16 expiration date.
Approximately 70,000 units were distributed in Hawaii since they were received on Sept. 29.
The recalled product was distributed statewide, including at schools on Oahu, Maui and Kauai. Meadow Gold has provided a list of establishments that received the recalled product. To see the list of schools, go to 808ne.ws/4nQXz1x .
