A senior at North Hendersonville High School is dead after a car accident the morning of Oct. 13 in Fletcher.

Brianna Henn, 17, was in a head-on collision with a dump truck, according to an Oct. 14 Fletcher Police Department news release.

The Fletcher Police Department, Henderson County EMS and Fletcher Fire and Rescue responded just before 10:30 p.m. and pronounced Henn dead at the scene, it said.

She was driving alone on an industrial stretch of Mills Gap Road in a Pontiac Torrent, Fletcher Police Chief Dan Terry told the Times-News in an Oct. 13 email.

The department informed Henn's family Oct. 14, Terry told the Times-News in an email that day.
