ATLANTA — TSA workers at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport are bracing for their final paycheck, and a promised relief plan meant to ease the strain still hasn’t materialized.

Earlier this month, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and U.S. Rep. Nikema Williams (D-Ga.), announced a plan to offer free airport parking and meal vouchers to TSA employees. The aid was intended to support workers affected by ongoing budget constraints.

But when we followed up this week to see if that assistance had been delivered, Rep. Williams pointed to roadblocks.

In a statement, she said the meal vouchers had been transferred to TSA management, but claimed the agency is refusing to distribute them.
