We’ve had some showers this morning, especially north of I-80, but we expect those to become more scattered and isolated as we head into the afternoon. Today will be cooler than normal for this time of year, with cloud cover keeping temperatures in the low 60s, perhaps reaching the mid-60s south of I-80. We are also seeing cooler air filtering in on northeast winds today.

Looking ahead, the weather pattern is set to change dramatically as we move toward the end of the week. A significant system is expected to eject northeastward from the West Coast, bringing a flow of warmer air into our region by Thursday and Friday.
