HARRISON COUNTY — A Perkinston man was killed and another driver injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 15 in Harrison County, authorities said.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 3:10 p.m. when a 2010 Toyota Prius, driven by 48-year-old William Parr of Perkinston, was traveling south and collided with a 2024 Ram 2500 heading north, driven by 45-year-old David Quave of Saucier.

Parr suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to MHP. Quave was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
