TWIGGS COUNTY, Ga. — The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office announced it will host a public ceremony Wednesday to honor the retirement of K-9 Loki and recognize several newly certified K-9 teams.

According to a post from the Sheriff’s Office , the event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Senior Center, located at 400 Bullard Road in Jeffersonville.

They invited the public to join Sheriff Darren Mitchum and the department in celebrating K-9 Loki’s retirement after an 11-year career as a narcotics detection dog with TCSO.

For over a decade, Loki has helped the Twiggs County Sheriff's Office track down illegal drugs and traffickers.
