Nearly four years after acquiring Scanline VFX , Netflix is bringing together the visual effects operations of Scanline and the Eyeline Studios production and tools team under one brand: Eyeline.

The move to merge Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios under one brand “enables us to pioneer new tools, facilitate creative collaboration, and drive the future of filmmaking for the most ambitious storytellers around the world,” Jeffrey Shapiro, CEO of Eyeline, wrote in a blog post about the change.

Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios have done work on a number of Netflix originals, including “Stranger Things,” “Wednesday” and “Happy Gilmore 2.” However, Netflix continues to operate them as standalone businesses that work with a variety of clients.
