BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One person is dead following a crash Wednesday morning in Warren County.

According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers responded for a single-vehicle crash near the 13-mile marker on Interstate 165 northbound.

Authorities say a preliminary investigation revealed a black 2010 Cadillac SUV driven by 35-year-old Courtney Poynter of Glasgow was traveling northbound on I-165 when her vehicle left the lane and entered the median, where it rolled over.

Troopers say the vehicle stopped in the southbound lanes of I-165.

Poynter was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation is ongoing.
