LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Runners looking to qualify for the Boston Marathon will have their chance this fall when the Laredo Marathon returns on Nov. 16.

Victor Treviño, an organizer of the event, is inviting the public to register and take part in the race, which will again feature the same course used in previous years.

“It’s going to be the same route we have every year,” Treviño said. “This is going to be the last route, unfortunately, until they finish construction on Loop 20, but thanks to TxDOT and the state allowing us to keep our original route. It’s a fast course, so we are looking forward to seeing a lot of people.”
