Quebec City police arrested a 42-year-old man from England on Monday afternoon, in connection with the disappearance of a 16-year-old English girl.
According to a Quebec City police news release, officers conducted a search near Montmorency Falls on Monday, at the request of the West Midlands police — a county in Birmingham, England.
"The patrol officers located the teenager in the area as she was accompanied by the suspect. She was taken care of by the appropriate authorities and is in good physical health," read the release.

She is currently under the care of the province's youth protection system because she "doesn't have family here," Quebec City police spokesperson William Robitaille told Radio-Canada in an email.
