MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - As Phoebe said, it’s the best day of the week!

Meet Ester! This 8-year-old pug mix is ready to find her forever home.

Ester, described as “a sausage” by one of WMTV’S producers, came to our studio with Ashley Curtis of the Green County Humane Society.

“She’s, like, just attention hungry.” Curtis says of Ester. “She just wants to be pet and hang out. She’d be the perfect, like, couch potato friend.”

Ester loves to be pet, so much so that Curtis says, “if you don’t pet her, after like, five seconds, don’t worry, she’ll give you a gentle tap with her paw.”

Ester was found at a local school, where she approached a group of children on the playground.

Ester would fit well in any family—she will stay close by on your walks and just wants to be pet and cuddled.
