Charges have now been laid against a pair of people who are accused of mixing illegal drugs.

The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT), along with the RCMP and Medicine Hat Police Service, searched a home on 12 Street Northwest on October 9, 2025.

The house was allegedly being used to alter fentanyl and combine it with other chemicals.

Officers claim to have seized $135,000 worth of drugs, including: • 598 grams of fentanyl • 102 grams of methamphetamine • 85 grams of cocaine • 47 grams of psilocybin mushrooms • 21 milliliters of GHB

Also confiscated from the home was $5,445 in cash.
