MENTOR, Ohio (WOIO) - There is now a new Mentor Schools Family Resource Center. The facility houses clothes, food, and school supplies. And, it’s available to any family in the district.

The center is a place families like Kristy Roborecki’s can rely on in a time of need.

“We had a huge house fire, and we lost about 89 percent of our items. It took about a quarter of our house. When we stayed with our parents and they gave us every supply we needed from hygene to school supplies for the girls to boots, clothes. Everything to get us back on our feet and it was just amazing,” said Roborecki.

The district had several groups that were supporting families, which is why they decided to combine them all under one roof. Tricia Zeedrich is the family support and engagement coordinator for Mentor
