Fire investigators say an unattended candle near a bed in the upstairs bedroom is the most likely cause of Tuesday’s fire at the Pebble Lane home. Article content

“Unfortunately, candles are a leading cause of home fires, particularly in bedrooms and during the holiday season,” said Fire Marshal Nick Brenner in a statement. “If you use them, please keep them far away from anything that can burn, and always blow them out before leaving.”
