SYRACUSE, Utah (ABC4) — A Roy firefighter has been charged with child sexual abuse after allegedly abusing a minor relative, and he was placed on leave by the Roy City Fire Department immediately following his arrest.

Ryan Rampton, 58, has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony, and one count of sodomy on a child, a first-degree felony.

The alleged abuse took place between 2013 and 2017 at Rampton's home in Syracuse, Utah.
