MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Students from 15 different schools across the area gathered today to focus on all things technology related.

More than 100 high school students came to Minot State University for the 25th annual SRT Tech Day. This event gives students a hands-on entry into the world of business and technology, while also sparking ideas for their potential future careers.

"We compete in six different objective tests, personal finance, to accounting, to business communications, and then we have a couple of performance events, presentation software and spreadsheets, and so they get a good mix of business and technology," Jan Repnow, an MSU professor and coordinator at the event, said.
