SCOTT, Wis. (WFRV) - Three juveniles were hospitalized after a box truck collided with their horse-drawn buggy early Wednesday morning in central Wisconsin.
Deputies with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office say that they got a 911 call around 8:15 a.m. on October 15 reporting a vehicle versus Amish buggy crash at the intersection of CTH SS and Vaughn Road in the Town of Scott.
The 911 caller, who was the driver of the box truck that crashed with the horse-drawn buggy, reported that three juveniles who were in the buggy were injured.
Based on the initial investigation, deputies say the buggy failed to yield the right-of-way and reportedly pulled in front of the box truck that was northbound on CTH SS.
