LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — The fourth annual Craft Beer Week is underway in Lincoln, giving beer enthusiasts a chance to explore local breweries and discover new favorites.
The event, sponsored by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, runs through Saturday and features 11 participating venues. The week-long celebration aims to showcase local breweries to people who may not frequent their businesses or even know they exist.
Chris Whitney with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce said the event serves multiple purposes for the community.
“Craft Beer Week is just a good way not only for visitors that are coming here that might be looking to check those out, but for people in the community that maybe not know if a new location is opened up or they want to get the details on one that they’ve heard about,”
