BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Wednesday evening, Oct. 15.

According to BRPD, officers responded to the 9000 block of Greenwell Springs Road, where one person was found shot and killed.

Homicide detectives are on the scene.

No further details about the victim or possible suspects have been released at this time.
