BANGOR -- New leadership has taken the helm at Northern Light Health following CEO Tim Dentry's announcement over the summer that he would retire.
R. Guy Hudson, MD, has assumed the role of President and CEO of Northern Light Health. The system says he brings more than two decades of clinical and executive experience to the role, and is an accomplished pediatric surgeon, as well as an experienced "physician executive" and CEO. He has also provided medical care internationally, including in Guatemala and Uganda.
He says he foresees a bright future for the health system, commenting that following COVID, "A lot of health systems are having trouble getting back up on their feet. I think Northern Light has a real opportunity to rise and keep moving forward."
