OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — At Ben Lomond High School's football game against Ogden High School tonight, a moment of silence was held for Mason Caballero, the student who was murdered near the high school last week, and there was also an increased police presence at the game.

Mason Caballero was shot and killed while sitting in a car near Ben Lomond High School on October 7. Other students brought him back to the school in an attempt to get him help, but he died from his wounds. A suspect in the murder, Isaias Emanuel Carranza, was later identified and arrested on October 11.

On October 15, Ben Lomond High School played a home football against Ogden High School, and a moment of silence was held in Mason's honor. It was observed by players, students, and fans from both schools. Players from both
