MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A fire early Wednesday in Whitehaven damaged two homes and four vehicles as the homeowners told FOX13 that they suspected an electrical issue ignited the blaze.

FOX13 arrived around 4 a.m. to find firefighters battling a house fire on Timothy Drive between Elvis Presley and Millbranch roads. The fire also caused minimal damage to a home next to it and destroyed three vehicles in the driveway.

Homeowners told FOX13 that five people were home at the time of the fire but managed to get outside without injuries.

"First and foremost, we are thankful to God," family member Walter Sharp told FOX13. "Blessed everyone to get out safely."

The homeowners also said they believe an electrical issue caused the fire.
