CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — A Clackamas County jury found Chad Michael Westover guilty Wednesday of killing a man during a physical altercation last year , according to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.

The jury convicted Westover, 53, of second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon in the Sept. 21, 2024, stabbing death of Tristan Thomas at an apartment complex on Southeast Sunnyside Road in Clackamas. Westover will be held without bail at the Clackamas County jail and is scheduled to be sentenced at 9 a.m. on Nov. 17.
