Eight different players scored for Middletown girls soccer in its 9-1 demolition at Susquehanna Township Wednesday in Mid-Penn Conference Capital Division play.

Mia Callender was the only played to score two goals. Aja Rossum, Eliza Artell, Zoey Buffington, Safia Aman, Rosie Vargas, Maya Krajsa and Haley Adams all scored one.

Rossum also registered a pair of assists while Artell and Vargas notched one. Chloe Adams made two saves in net for the Blue Raiders.

It’s a big win for Middletown in the District 3 Class 3A playoff chase. Finishing the regular season at 10-6-2, the Blue Raiders are currently slotted at No. 16 in the power rankings.
