DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — An alleged Douglas County serial rapist, who was already facing four rape charges , was indicted Tuesday on three additional counts of rape.

In total, a grand jury indicted Bobby Lee Hart Jr. on 18 counts, including seven separate rapes, kidnapping, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and aggravated sodomy.

These charges stem from alleged sexual assaults dating back to 2012.

In the indictments, the district attorney alleged Hart kept a weapon within arm’s reach during some the sexual assaults.

According to the indictment, Hart is prohibited from possessing weapons due to a 2003 conviction in DeKalb County for aggravated stalking.
