ST. MARY PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A wanted man was arrested in Patterson after barricading himself in a residence.

Lester Janard Broussard, 34, of Carencro was arrested today on warrants for: • Distribution/possession with intent to distribute (Heroin) • Distribution/possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (Hydrocodone) • Clandestine lab • Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses • Illegal carrying of weapons • Illegal possession of stolen things • Obstruction of justice

Deputies with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted the U.S. Marshal’s Office in an operation to apprehend Broussard at a residence in Patterson. When they arrived at the scene, officials detained Sydni Lafay Henry, 23.
